How do you approach fake engagement?
Our team manually approves each micro-influencer on the platform. We check the last three to six posts to detect signs of fake comments, bots, and more. Our approval rate is, on average, 28%, so we reject many applicants, and most of them specifically for this reason.
Why should I use micro-influencers for awareness and not macro-influencers?

Micro-influencers build small but authentic and engaged communities around themselves. Even if the potential reach is smaller compared with macro-influencers, it's more relevant and authentic.

In general, the more influencers grow, the less engaged and authentic their audiences tend to be. Eventually, even if this leads in the short term to a higher reach, it's not as relevant as compared with micro-influencers.

What are some metrics I can use to measure awareness?

While awareness itself might get tricky to measure, some of the metrics we can look at include reach, impressions, engagement rate, link clicks, CPM, or new followers gained.

What's a better platform for brand awareness: Instagram or TikTok?

This depends, first of all, on where's your audience. Remember, you want to be where they are and constantly remind them of your brand and how you solve their problem.

According to recent research studying TikTok users by age, 71% of the TikTok-ers are between 18 to 34 years old, so if you cater to this audience, TikTok is a better place to start.

At the same time, according to recent stats, 27.7 percent of Instagram users in the United States were aged between 25 and 34 years, whilst 25.7 percent of users were aged 18 to 24 years.
