Run Oregon was founded to share running news, race coverage, and gear reviews for Oregon and SW Washington. While I do most of the day-to-day aspects of the website, we do have a half dozen volunteer bloggers who contribute directly for us. We feel we fit a unique niche as we strive to have a tone of the "runner next door". You can go to any number of running / fitness websites and be met with carbon copies of the same thing - companies who review every article of clothing or running shoes down to the most excruciating minute and technical detail. You can head to most fitness influencer's IG and see everyone staring into cameras and making reels and videos of themselves as the focus. We want to have the vibe of being that casual reviewer - having a tone of how we would respond to someone if they said "hey neighbor, those are cool shoes (clothes, products, etc). Tell me about them."
