My name is Jessica Youngblood. I’m from California and have two feral children whom I love dearly. I enjoy singing and most importantly baking. Last January, my dad and I created our first sourdough starter, Birtha. She has since blossomed into an everyday essential in our lives. Learning the ways of sourdough have been a never ending journey that has filled me with such joy. Creating something organic and delicious for my family is such a fulfilling treat I love to provide. After a year of trial and error, I feel I have so much more to offer. I have created Doughbauchery not only to provide organic sourdough goods, but also grow as a baker and in a way, find myself again. After becoming a mom, finding yourself can be challenging. Although I love every aspect of motherhood, the good and the bad, I’m excited to create something alongside my journey as a mother.
